Pooper Scooper Service in Sienna, Texas
Sienna has no city code of its own, so its pick-up rule comes from the HOA: the Sienna Community Association's recorded pet policy says all pet waste will be removed by the pet's owner. In Sienna Plantation backyards, we do that part for you.

Dog poop removal in Sienna.
Sienna is a master-planned community of about 10,800 acres on the Brazos River in Fort Bend County. It isn't a city. The Census Bureau counts it as the Sienna CDP, Missouri City has annexed parts of it, and the rest is unincorporated county land. Levees, drainage and the district parks belong to the Sienna Parks and Levee Improvement District, which the county created in 1978.
The land's history goes back to 1840, when Jonathan D. Waters bought it for a sugar and cotton plantation with its own wharf on the Brazos. The name came much later, from the operators of the Cenacle Retreat, who called it Sienna Plantation after the Siena area of Tuscany. Sienna addresses use the 77459 and 77583 ZIP codes.
Two homeowners associations set the yard rules: the Sienna Residential Association for the original seven villages, and the Sienna Community Association for Sawmill Lake, Sienna Oaks and Summerlake House. Both limit homes to three pets, and both expect owners to pick up. Sienna is on the Highway 6 side of our service area, and your quote confirms your street.

Where Missouri City has annexed
In the parts of Sienna that Missouri City has annexed, the city's code applies too, and annexation doesn't remove HOA deed restrictions.
Why it matters here
Sienna sits beside the Brazos River behind levees run by the Sienna Parks and Levee Improvement District. When the river runs high, the district closes its flood gates and its pump stations stand by. Its stormwater outreach includes a pet waste campaign titled "Never Forget to Pickup Your Pet Waste!", and Missouri City's stormwater program warns that pet waste left on the ground lets harmful bacteria and nutrients wash into storm drains and local waters.

Frequently asked
Sienna questions, answered.

Is Sienna part of Missouri City?
Partly. Missouri City annexed Sienna MUD No. 2 in 2023, a 2025 city memo says most of the Sienna Management District is within the city, and the council is tentatively set to consider annexing Sienna MUD No. 3 on December 7, 2026. Areas not annexed are outside city limits.
Do Sienna HOA rules require picking up after my dog?
Yes, for Sienna Community Association lots: its recorded Animal and Pet Policy says the owner must remove and properly dispose of all pet waste, and no animal may run at large. The shared Sienna dog park rules also say to promptly pick up your dog's waste and put the bags in dog waste receptacles.
Do dogs need a leash in Sienna's levee district parks?
Yes. The Sienna Parks and Levee Improvement District's park rules say dogs must be on a leash at all times, owners must clean up animal waste, and pets aren't allowed on or near athletic fields.
How many pets can a Sienna household keep?
Three. The Sienna Residential Association declaration allows up to three dogs, cats or other common household pets per home, and the Sienna Community Association policy caps pets at three per lot.
