Trusty Tail is a true family effort. Sam Martinez, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran born and raised in Southeast Houston, handles the boots-on-the-ground work, and his wife Margaret is the heart of the strategy and vision.
Their dogs, Casper and Ave, were the original inspiration: a yard that was safe for them to play in, and a reliable service for Pearland and Houston neighbors who wanted the same.

The questions we hear most from new clients.
No. Most of our clients are at work or running errands on their service day. As long as we can get into the yard, through an unlocked gate or with a gate code we keep on file, we scoop, close the gate behind us and text you a photo of it. A visit we can't get into is still charged, so keep the code current.
We double-bag it and put it in your outdoor trash bin, so nothing is left sitting in the yard. We don't haul waste away from the property at this time.
Yes, if they're friendly. We'd love the company. If your dog is protective, anxious or aggressive, please keep them inside on your service day: for our team's safety, if a dog shows aggression, we'll leave the yard.
You'll get a text when we're on the way, and another when the yard is clear, with a photo of your closed gate. Expect us on your scheduled service day; we're still fine-tuning arrival windows within the day.
Weekly service starts at $90 a month for one dog, and every-other-week service starts at $70 a month. Your exact price depends on how many dogs use the yard, how often we come and the yard's size and terrain. The quote shows your price in about a minute, or call or text (832) 981-1363. Your first clean is free, with no signup for ongoing service required.
No long-term contracts. You can start, pause or cancel your residential service any time. We just ask for at least 48 hours' notice before your next scheduled visit.
